Zoom Kids, Palakkad, is a kindergarten (KG) school located at Palakkad offering high quality early childhood education. This school seeks to lay the foundations, during the early formative years of a child, for subsequent and continued academic excellence. The school offers Pre-KG, LKG and UKG classes at present. Mrs. Maithreyi Venugopalan, formerly of Padma Seshadri School, Chennai, is the Principal of the school.
The 3 year KG programme (Pre-KG to UKG) offered by Zoom Kids is a high quality programme which prepares the student to confidently enter any one of the reputed mainstream schools. Many of our past students are successful students in the Gulf countries and in various metro cities like Bangalore etc. Our curriculum, while absolutely age-appropriate, also seeks to prepare our students for formal mainstream schooling. One important feature of our KG programme is that it is especially suitable for students seeking admission to the Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central Schools) system. Apart from English, Malayalam, Maths, EVS etc., Hindi is also taught in the UKG classes. Almost all our UKG students, who were otherwise eligible for admission to KVs, have secured admission to the Kendriya Vidyalayas at Kanjikode and/or Olavakkode. We wish to make it clear that admission to the school is open to all parents, irrespective of whether they aim at Kendriya Vidyalaya admission or not.
