Mrs. Maithreyi Venugopalan is a Palakkad based independent early childhood educational consultant. She is the Principal of Zoom Kids, Palakkad, and formerly she was with Padma Seshadri, Chennai, for around 12 years. She is passionate about early childhood education and early literacy.
She has been offering her hugely popular English enrichment classes to students from 1st Standard to 5th Standard at Palakkad. Typically, there are two classes each week, the duration of each class being around 1 1/2 hours. These classes seek to improve the overall language proficiency of the students, and various innovative teaching methods are brought to play. Normally the classes begin in June every year.
